Elliott Piggott (CEO)

Elliott is responsible for defining and communicating corporate strategy, leading and motivating the organisation and managing change at Trayport.  He joined Trayport in March 2001 as Commercial Director after 6 years with Air Miles, where he helped grow the UK business.

Prior to that, Elliott was at Hill Samuel and British Aerospace in their Computing and Telecommunications unit.  He is a graduate of Cambridge University and a Chartered Company Secretary.

Kevin Heffron (COO)

Kevin is responsible for assisting the CEO with the development and execution of the company strategy.  He is directly responsible for our relationship building efforts with external stakeholders.

Prior to joining Trayport Kevin worked for over thirty years in the commodities segment of the financial services business.  He has worked for, among others, the Bank of Scotland, Enron and the Bankers Trust Company. Kevin has a BS Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

Combie Cryan (Head of Client Services)

Combie manages the relationships and delivery of trading solutions to all of Trayport’s trading, broking and exchange clients.  His main focus is on growing commercially successful relationships through constantly refining Trayport's understanding of and offerings to its valued trading clients.

Prior to Trayport, Combie headed business development for NYSE Euronext’s global cash equities and derivatives data businesses and created and ran the New Zealand Exchange’s ‘high growth’ business units.  He has performed similar roles at various investment banks and exchanges in the UK and overseas over the past 15 years.  He has a BComm in Finance from University College Dublin and MSc in Finance from Queens University Belfast.

Carl Daucher (Head of Global Commodities)

Carl coordinates Trayport’s efforts across asset classes that have a global trading and broking customer set.  These include coal, freight, iron ore and oil—and geographically covers the US, Asia and Europe.   Carl started with Trayport in 2010 as VP-Americas and had a deep focus on coal markets.   In support of becoming more competitive outside Europe and across global asset classes, Carl has led several new product initiatives for traders and brokers that improve the customer experience including the provision of trial products and fully hosted trading solutions.                         

Before joining Trayport in early 2010, Carl was CFO and Head of Strategy for New Zealand Exchange- one of Trayport’s first financial exchange customers.  Carl worked for McKinsey & Co as a management consultant in New York after graduating from Brown University with a degree in Economics and International Relations.

James Davies (Head of Sales)

James Davies is the Head of Sales in the London office. He brings a variety of experience to Trayport including a physics degree from Southampton university, extensive financial markets experience with eSpeed / Eccoware / Cantor Fitzgerald,  programming experience in C++,  and trading floor background on Liffe.

James joined Trayport in 2007.

Mark Holt (Head of Planning)

Mark Holt joined Trayport as Head of Technology in March 2008 and is currently responsible for Product and Technology across all Trayport's customer segments. He leads a team of Product Managers, Architects, Analysts and Project managers that are responsible for defining and delivering strategic initiatives that drive sustainable business growth.

Before joining Trayport, Mark designed and built technology solutions and performed strategic consultancy for a wide variety of companies including ABN AMRO, GE Capital, and the Financial Times and has held a variety of non-executive director and advisory roles with software development, media and venture capital firms.  In 1994, Mark founded and built the first secure e-commerce website in Europe.  He has a degree in Computer Science and an MBA from the London Business School.

Adrian Morrocco (Head of Finance and Compliance)

Adrian joined Trayport in 2009 and heads up the Finance and Compliance Department. He is a member of the Executive Management Team and manages a Function responsible for regular internal and external shareholder reporting (US listed parent) and for compliance issues such as Sarbanes Oxley.

Adrian qualified as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton in 1995 and has held various financial roles for both listed and private companies in the UK and abroad and has been a board director and company secretary to several companies. Adrian graduated from St Catherine’s College, Oxford with a degree in Chemistry and has an MBA from Imperial College, London.

Adrienne Muir (Head of Operations)

Adrienne Muir is Head of Global Operations for Trayport.  Overseeing the Operations function ensures that core cross-company processes, services and infrastructure run efficiently and effectively. 

Prior to taking this role, Adrienne was Head of Trayport Exchange Systems, a key part of Trayport’s business.  Before this, Adrienne was head of IT Projects & Strategy for New Zealand Exchange (NZX), with responsibility for IT operations and delivery of the Exchange's major projects, including the implementation of Trayport’s Exchange Trading System and set-up of the ECN in Australia.  Adrienne joined NZX following 5 years at Euronext LIFFE where she provided business analysis, development, and technical testing support for front and back office Trading Applications.

Sergey Pivovarov (Head of Production)

Sergey joined Trayport in February 2010 and heads up the Production function.  The Production function owns the development, quality and delivery of Trayport's high-quality software products.  Previously he has successfully delivered strategic programmes and projects in the UK, managed software development departments for the Russian IT and consulting market leader and delivered projects for Russian government organisations and private companies.

Sergey has a PHD in Computer Science from the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.

Dan Smith (Head of Market Development)

As Head of Market Development Dan Smith is responsible for global regulatory strategy and partnerships.  He has become a subject expert on the impact of pending European and US regulation on trading systems and is a frequent commentator in the press and at international conferences on the topic.

Dan joined Trayport in 2003 and has held several key management and strategic roles. During that time he has developed a deeper knowledge of exchange traded and OTC energy and related markets focussed on European Power and Gas.  Prior to joining Trayport Dan held a number of senior technology roles including 8 years with GE managing the development of large scale supervisory control and data acquisition systems for electric utilities and transportation companies. Dan holds an MS in Computer Architecture from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the University of Florida.
