Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) - Daily Snapshot File

Trayport are offering Software as a Service (SaaS) clients an end of day data file of their day's complete order and trade flow, captured at source to ensure all activity is retained.

The Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) came into effect on the 3rd July 2016. From that date, the provisions of the original Market Abuse Directive (MAD) are extended in several respects.

MAR generally covers:

  • Contracts on Regulated Markets and Multilateral Trading Facilities (MTF)
  • OTC derivatives which may influence the prices of the above contracts
  • Spot commodity trading that could influence the prices of the above contracts.

How is Trayport helping our clients with their obligations?

  • An end of day file which ensures full coverage and reduces the risk of data gaps
  • Includes all of the client's trade and order details
  • Includes all of the client's permissioned market activity - full market depth and anonymised
  • Provided in an easy to use CSV format
  • Available via secure download
